The (re)Generation Project is being undertaken with participatory action research. The research will take place at two levels.

1.    Youth led groups running their own project ideas. The groups will document how successful their plan went in action and to what extent it had an effect on their target audience. Currently, there are 11 youth-led projects that will be written up as evaluative case studies by June.

2.   At an overall project level, further research is being undertaken on the best ways to stimulate a movement to encourage young people to visit and value nature. This includes analysis on young people’s motivations in nature experience, the role of media in influencing young people, and the role of youth organisations in engaging young people into nature.
